Primary Function Serves as HR Representative within HR Operations, responsible for HR service delivery encompassing multiple areas of HR to include employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and training. Works directly with HR BPs. Position involves the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with regard to matters of significance. Major Responsibilities Collects and organizes data for ad hoc reporting. May conduct exit interviews, providing feedback to HRBPs/Sr. HRBPs and management as appropriate. Processes, approves, reviews and troubleshoots varied employee transactions in a timely manner. Performs analysis by preparing and collecting salary information and reports. Assists with reductions and terminations. Reviews severance and benefits reports, prepares waiver and release, prepares notification memos, coordinates with HRBPs/Sr. HRBPs. Prepares responses to unemployment claims. Handles employee relations issues by responding to inquiries from employees. Works with HRBPs/Sr. HRBPs to document and determine appropriate action. Counsels employees concerning work-related problems. Supports HRBPs/Sr. HRBPs in annual processes such as performance reviews, talent reviews, promotions, workforce planning, talent management, and salary planning. Actively contributes to overall department and organizational goals by leading and/or participating on special project teams such as Employee Engagement, Employee Development, Off-boarding, and Employee Referral Program. Partners with HRIS and managers to ensure employee status changes are completed correctly and timely. Assists with communication and follow up on forms (i.e. telecommuting agreements, outside employment forms, performance review forms). Partners with Talent Acquisition to check employee files for rehires and transfers. Partners with Benefits and managers to process employee leave or disability claims. Administers the tuition reimbursement program, ensuring policy guidelines are maintained. Ensures that all supporting documentation is properly maintained. Communicates with employees and managers to administer tuition guidelines. Manages employee relocation process, including preparation of relocation memos and documentation per relocation policy and guidelines. Monitor and track expense reimbursement. Communicate with employees and managers consistently and timely. Ensures that all relocation supporting documentation is properly maintained. Partners with Sr. HRBP, line management, and internal departments to complete Temporary Assignment memos. Reviews guidelines for special pay, such as COLA and Transportation Cost Adjustment (TCA), to ensure compliance with policy. Completes processing in a timely manner. Coordinate with Talent Acquisition immigration cases for new hires. Maintain and track immigration processes for employees with open immigration status. Communication with employees and managers on a timely basis to ensure compliance. Document workflow and work procedures and conduct appropriate audits to ensure work integrity. Position Requirements Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Requires 0-2 years of related experience. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with PeopleSoft and Success Factors preferred. Professionally handle confidential material and information, maintain discretion, and display a high degree of trust. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interface with employees with diverse backgrounds and experience levels. Exercise sound judgment and decision-making abilities in situations involving the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. Awareness and knowledge of Federal and State employment law. Demonstrated customer service aptitude, including active listening skills and timely follow through. Strong team orientation and motivation to learn.
