As the Brooks Footwear Merchandising Intern, you will learn about the footwear merchandising process and gain valuable business knowledge in merchandising as you support the Senior Manager, Global Footwear Merchandising in creating a 3-year global footwear forecast and assist in crafting our 3-year market share assumptions. Responsibilities: Business Analytics Assists in crafting 3-year market share assumptions Supports Senior Manager, Global Footwear Merchandising in creating 3-year global footwear forecast Merchandise the footwear line for NA Assists in merchandising the global seasonal footwear collection Color feedback and validation Supports the color team to create the right color choices for the global footwear line during the creation process. Selects and merchandises the right color assortments. Attends account visits to validate color. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Merchandising or related university degree program. High proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite (with comfort using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and deliver quality work on time and within scope of assignment Understanding of NRF or Pantone-Munsell Custom Color Standards, preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company. Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all of the pieces fit together and affect one another. Passionate participation in Brooks sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner in order to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.
