Work closely with other developers on an agile scrum team to develop and enhance XSPOC, an industry-leading oil and gas automation platform. Design and implement features throughout our technology stack (SQL Server, C#/VB.NET, Winforms). Develop algorithms that model physical oilfield systems, optimize equipment productivity, or communicate with controllers in the field. Help generate solutions that advance the cutting edge of the oil and gas production industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement new features and maintain legacy features throughout XSPOC
- Partner with engineers to develop code that models, analyzes, and optimizes production equipment
- Implement and use libraries that communicate with and control oilfield equipment
- Design and implement new screens in Winforms
- Participate in architecting, refactoring, and improving code
- Contribute to scrum efforts and meetings to improve team efficiency
- Learn from and coach other team members to transfer skills and domain knowledge

- Experience developing and maintaining features in layered architectures (MVP, MVC, MVVM)

- Experience working on large projects on multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with SQL-based database development using SQL Server or similar

- Experience with the oil and gas production industry
- Experience with team-based software and processes (Agile Scrum, Pull Requests, Source Control, etc)
