    CONTRACT TO HIRE

    CURRENTLY SEEKING A CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR FOR THE ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA OFFICE.  

    SUMMARY OF POSITION IN ORGANIZATION

    This position will be responsible for developing, negotiating and maintaining and adhering to sales and service  contracts on behalf of the organization. This role will also enter all sales orders and service tickets into the ERP system as well oversee all purchasing for this location.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·        Manage a complex contracts workload comprised of public works agencies and prime contractors engaged in government projects and ensure all contracts abide by local and federal laws.

    ·        Develop and process contract and subcontract sign-off packages and manage the approval process for proposals, contracts and modifications.

    ·        Ensure that contractors are, in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.

    ·        Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, payment schedules and labor compliance with prevailing wage determinations.

    ·        Responsible for order entry of all incoming sales orders and service tickets in accordance with contract terms and delivery schedules.

    ·        Use sales module system to retrieve customer information, stock status information, and status of purchase orders and make changes on customer purchase orders. Ensure that proper procedures and correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information.

    ·        Execute internal purchase orders by reviewing the ERP system and on-hand inventory and monitor order status.

    ·        Perform other administrative duties as needed including COI requests.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    ·        Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a contract administration role or a related field.

    ·        Exemplifies knowledge of contract law.

    ·        Possesses superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts.

    ·        Previous experience in customer service and strong communication skills.

    ·        Able to work productively independently and as part of a team.

    ·        Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities.

    ·        Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities.

    ·        SAP experience a plus but not required.

    ·        Knowledge of certified payroll preferred.
