Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in both tactical and strategic activities to support engineering projects
Assist in process and equipment evaluations and identify areas for improvement
Develop and provide inputs on equipment or process documentation (drawings, work instructions, etc.)
Work with members of the technical services team to develop new strategies to improve quality and productivity
Perform data analysis from a variety of sources
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Rising Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Textile Engineering, or Industrial Engineering)
3.0 GPA or higher
Basic Engineering process understanding
Experience with 3D solid modeling package, SolidWorks preferred
Ability to drive continuous improvement and implement strategies to execute effective solutions.
Familiarity with ISO quality systems, six sigma methodology, cleanrooms and contamination control preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Preferred candidates will have an understanding of textiles
Strong mechanical aptitude and time management skills
Understanding of Statistical Process Control and exposure to statistics
Analytics experience, including data summary and analysis skills preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
