Summary of Internship
The Client Engineering Internship position provides an opportunity for engineering students who are currently pursuing a computer science, computer engineering, or like engineering degree to get hands on experience working with engineers in a fast-paced global environment. Opportunities are endless in implementing processes and procedures using the corporate defined tool Service Now. Duties and learning will continue with client hardware testing, Packaging of software, imaging for client machines and learning how to contribute to and maintain a software catalog for over 75K users within the environment ensuring the best employee experience possible. Duties include working in parallel with current engineers maintaining the Microsoft deployment tool SCCM that is used as the automation patching tool for the clients in the environment. The person coming in as an intern will get a great deal of exposure, and on the job training experience overall. The position starts in June, paid working 40 hours per week through August. Opportunity exists for this position to continue through the academic year on a part-time basis to allow for class schedules.
