  • Responsibilities
    • Three to six-month contract role -

                                                       

    We are seeking a skilled Finance Leader to work with the EILEEN FISHER, Inc. leadership team to refine its business plans and develop the related execution steps. This is a hands-on role for an experienced individual with project management, business acumen and interpersonal competencies.  It requires analytical thinking and an ability to probe-on existing strategies, processes, and execution elements.

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the CFO and engaging closely with business leaders and process owners across the organization, this individual will:

    • Facilitate working sessions with key stakeholders to formulate priorities and operational plans across a two to three-year horizon

    • Perform analysis to develop insights into current performance and future actions across various dimensions, including customer, product, business channel and support functions

    • Work with Finance and other functional teams to develop models for individual strategies as well as a total company financial model, including income, balance sheet and cash flow statements

    • Develop key customer and operational metrics, and other measurements as needed, to be used by management to set goals and measure progress

    • Assist teams in industry, market and competitive analysis

    • Develop a framework for the continued execution of a practical planning and execution process across the Company.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • 10+ years of experience in Retail or CPG Finance

    • Built and led the execution of business plans with a 2-3 year outlook

    • Strong project management skills

    • Business and financial acumen

    • Strong financial modeling skills, and advance Excel and PowerPoint skills

    • Strong communication and relationship building skills

  • Qualifications
    • Master's degree in the discipline of instruction OR Master's in any field AND 15 hours in the discipline OR Sufficient experience in lieu of either requirement, as approved by the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

    • Teaching experience is preferred.

    • This person should possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods including new technologies.

    • Subject matter/content expertise in your field.
