Cambrex High Point (www.cambrex.com), located in High Point, NC, 27265, is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, results-oriented individual to join our Chemical Research and Development team of dedicated professionals focused on customer service and quality. We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Technical Writer

The Technical writer will author and edit Master Batch Records for pilot plant and process labs manufacturing. They will be responsible for progressing them through peer review/approval process. The Technical writer assures that all documents are consistent with the approved format meeting the RFT goals.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creation and revision of Master Batch Records for Pilot Plant and Process Labs
• Write and revise Deviations
• Work with CRD Chemists and ARD Analysts to insure finalized procedures and methods are incorporated into the finalized Master Batch Record.
• Work with Project Manager and Site Safety Personnel to insure that proper safety precautions are incorporated into the Master Batch Record.
• Edit and format CR&D documents (final reports, SOP etc)

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Science
• MS in Chemistry or PhD in Organic Chemistry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and EXCEL), Web-browsing software (IE, Firefox etc.) and Chemdraw

OTHER EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Strong attention to details, and excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; Strong reading comprehension and proof reading skills, excellent organizational skills; Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast, priority switching environment to meet tight timelines; Self-motivated; Team and Customer Oriented; Ability to work/contribute a team environment. Scale up and GMP experience in a plant setting is a plus; Experience with MasterControl is desired.
