Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a highly motivated AF Major Command Accounting SME to support CTC on the Air Force Accounting Operations Center (AFAOC) task. AFAOC plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial management for the Air Force. The AFAOC, implements and maintains the Department of the Air Force's financial accounting and entitlement system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a central focal point to the Government lead on the status of delivering all the Air Force Accounting Operations Center (AFAOC) tasks
• Provide support to all bases and units, to include host installations and tenants, belonging to the respective Command
• Research and resolve Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) system-related processing issues and guide DEAMS users
• Perform training support, both Ad Hoc training and On-the-Job- Training (OJT) provided either virtual or on-site
• Identify training opportunities, provide on-the-spot training or plan future training events, and identify system issues and requirements
• Review local processes to identify best practices or areas needing improvement and report any best practices or process weakness to the AFAOC including performance metrics
• Prepare and deliver as needed DEAMS communications to assigned command on software updates, process changes, training needs and issues

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, or related field with 4-6 years of experience.
• Expertise in Air Force financial management policies, processes, and procedures
• Specifically experience using the DEAMS application

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of AF Financial Management systems
• Functional Experience with Oracle Federal Financial audit capabilities
• Functional Expertise in operational Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS)
• Functional Experience as Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Functional Experience as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
