Key Responsibilities:

• Design up to 6 networks to support a TS Lab requirement to connect government data assets and devices.
• Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, security awareness, system administration, networking, maintenance, and continuous monitoring of Windows and Linux accredited workstations, systems, and Clouds.
• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information network security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing multiple types information as well as provide the CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Support the network security plans, Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM's) and other IA documentation.
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information and maintain operational security posture for an information system or program.

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of a BA/BS Degree in a Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field plus 6-8 years of directly related network experience.
• Strong experience in network design, with a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCCNA) certification.
• Experience in Cross Domain System (CDS) design, build, and maintenance.
• Experience in network selection and procurement specification
• Strong experience in network tools utilizing troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring, and metrics.
• Skill in network scripting and system automation
• Experience in specifying filewall and installation
• Must be a solutions-oriented team player and possess a high level of self-initiative
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with end-clients, users, and management
• TS Clearance or eligibility interim.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge in networking with cloud solutions
• Linux and/or Windows system administration experience
• CCDE certified
