    Job Description

    Corbus Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced and motivated DMPK scientist to join our growing DMPK group. The successful candidate will represent DMPK on interdisciplinary project teams to ensure effective application and integration of ADME, PK, bioanalytical and PK/PD studies in support of discovery and clinical programs.  This person will work with internal-functional teams including medicinal chemistry, biology, formulation, CMC, clinical operations and regulatory, and collaborate with CROs to ensure timely data-driven decision making. Experience in small molecule drug discovery and development and deep understanding in the key ADME/PK processes is required. This is a unique opportunity to make a big impact on a growing organization.

    THIS IS A NEWLY CREATED POSITION BASED ON GROWTH

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serve as a DMPK representative on discovery and clinical program teams
    • Identify critical ADME/PK needs and propose strategies
    • Analyze and interpret in vitro/in vivo DMPK data, provide the project team on risk assessment and issue management, and support of clinical study protocol development for human safety and efficacy trials
    • Communicate results to project teams, and solve project ADME-related issues
    • Manage external CROs for the design and execution of in vitro/in vivo ADME, PK and bioanalytical studies
    • Develop novel in vitro assays and animal studies to solve challenge ADME issues of drug candidates.
    • Prepare abstracts and manuscripts for publication

    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field with 5-10 years of relevant industry experience in a drug discovery and development environment
    • Proven knowledge in ADME, PK and bioanalytical. Knowledge or experience in PBPK, PK/PD modeling or drug transporter is a plus
    • Capable of working independently within a highly matrixed environment and to able provide cross-functional support for development teams.
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills and ability to perform as an effective, flexible and self-assured team player
