    Job Description

    This is an exciting time to join Corbus Pharmaceuticals, a clinical stage biotechnology pharmaceutical company with a vision to be the leader in treating inflammatory, fibrotic and metabolic diseases by targeting the endocannabinoid system.  

    The Head, Commercial Operations and Analytics will establish our market / customer data and analytics strategy and capabilities as well as help design and implement our go to market model ahead of product launches in the US and potentially other global markets.   This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of innovative science as we prepare to launch a novel late-stage development candidate in multiple rare disease indications.    This position reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and is part of the Commercial Leadership Team.   PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Leverage data driven insights to define market opportunities and develop actionable recommendations that can be leveraged to drive commercial strategies and plans
    • Influence business strategy and execution through application of innovative data solutions and analytical techniques
    • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise and actionable manner, communicating the essence of key implications derived from complex data analytics
    • Identify and integrate actionable data sources from internal and third-party suppliers to help clearly define marketing and access opportunities, identify customer segments, refine product forecasts, and continually assess efficiency and effectiveness of promotional strategies & tactics
    • Work with CIO to establish systems and applications for data collection, analysis and reporting
    • Work closely with Marketing on the creation and tracking of launch plans: identify key customer insights, market dynamics, and critical success factors for launch readiness, and identify and track KPIs to measure launch success
    • Define, develop and regularly communicate business Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics to various stakeholders including executive and commercial leadership
    • Lead the process to design the “go to market” model ahead of launch: analysis and recommendation of customer facing team size, alignment & composition, customer targets, CRM and other data systems, performance tracking and reporting, and incentive comp design
    • Establish ongoing operational support to customer facing teams, including geographical alignment adjustments, CRM implementation and support, customer call plan optimization, performance tracking and reporting, Incentive Comp plan design and administration, and other logistical support to the field
    • Liaise with business stakeholders across Commercial, Operations and Finance including acting as the primary Commercial point of contact for Integrated Business Planning
    • Drive transparency around forecasting methodologies and ensure streamlined integration with downstream business processes
    • Provide ongoing business analytic support to Research pipeline, Business Development and Life Cycle initiatives
    • Define required departmental competencies and staffing; build out, lead and develop high performing team of talented and motivated professionals

    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required with preference for advanced degree in statistics, operations, or business
    • Experience leading commercial operations and analytics functions in specialty pharmaceutical markets
    • US and global experience with both in-line and new product planning, including launch experience; experience in rare diseases a plus 
    • Strong working knowledge of market research, forecasting, analytic techniques, external data sources, business planning, sales operations, and analytic methods across sales, marketing, payer and pricing functions
    • Proven track record of leveraging market research, analytics and data driven solutions to uncover deep customer insights and market drivers to deliver high impact strategies and business performance
    • Leadership experience in building and developing high performing teams, delivering results and shaping the future
    • Exceptional team-oriented leader with excellent communication and influencing skills and a collaborative work style
    • Strong strategic thinking skills with a track record of exploring new and innovative options to drive creative solutions
    • Results oriented, with high standards for individual and team execution and achievement
