SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP
The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Internship position provides an opportunity for business-minded students who are currently pursuing a computer science, data science, finance or business management type degree to get hands on experience working with a team to develop analytics for the Global IT organization. The PMO intern will contribute to developing dashboards and insights to help drive Global IT priorities and program execution. THE POSITION STARTS IN MAY/JUNE, PAID WORKING 40 HOURS PER WEEK THROUGH AUGUST. Opportunity exists for this position to continue through the academic year on a part-time basis to allow for class schedules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist in project management, reporting and administration of the current PPM tool
Develop portfolio and program dashboards
Develop analytics on the portfolio that drive behavior and decisions
Consolidate and analyze global PPM data for trends and opportunities
Utilizing automation tools to automate processes within the Planview PPM administration
Accept candid feedback and look for areas of improvements
Specific tasks will be tailored to the intern’s experience level and abilities
The PMO intern works under the close supervision of managers
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, finance or business management
Experience with SQL, Power BI, data analysis tools

Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
Desire to contribute ideas and opportunities
Aptitude for data analysis, exposing information out of the data
Proven analytic skills and/or work with applied statistical models/engines.
