We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our organization runs, and can be expected to gain valuable insight that can further your interest in your chosen career field.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leverage machine learning and automation to enhance business processes.
    • Work with our data scientists to enhance predictive models.
    • Develop visualization and key performance indexes to track effectiveness of marketing plays.
    • Develop models that classify and predict customer behavior.
    • Effectively respond to requests for ad hoc analyses.
    • Create and maintain internal wiki pages to document programs and processes.

    Skills employed in this job will include:

    • Extracting data from multiple sources, cleaning and validating for duplicates and other anomalies.
    • Creating efficient tables and files to feed into our machine learning processes.
    • Employing math and statistics into algorithms to generate real-time predictive systems.
    • Writing code from scratch to create solutions that don’t align with any available turnkey packages.
    • Understanding and employing efficiencies that will make code run fast while maintaining precision.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Applicant must be confident and comfortable with their math skills as they will be used extensively.
    • Applicant must be proficient in either SQL or Python and be able to quickly become comfortable in both.
    • Must embrace team spirit and have strong interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Have taken 3-4 math courses, Calculus and Statistics preferred.
    • Experience with cloud computing (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS, etc.).
    • Exposure to a variety of operating systems and computing platforms.
    • Familiarity with available Open Source solutions that will boost the team’s efficiency.
    • GPA 3.20 or higher.
