Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an intern to work within an industry-leading integrated circuit design team. As a member of this team, you’ll directly influence and develop cutting edge chip technology for multiple genomic sequencing markets. Your work will have real-world impact, and you’ll be supported by your team members.

This internship offers the opportunity to gain invaluable real-world experience working on an advanced chip design and verification project in the next-generation sequencing space. Furthermore, you'll learn how to address the technological challenges associated with chip development while enabling the business to tape out its next chip design. The ideal candidate will have a background in electronic design, values optimization and efficiency, and is passionate about technology.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of circuit design fundamentals.
• Experience with Verilog.
• Programming language skills in Python and/or scripting. Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Linux.
• Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Strong team player.
