    • Plant media prep

    • Tissue culture

    • Agrobacterium mediated transformation

    • Biolistic transformation

    • Protoplast transformation

    Molecular biology techniques:

    • Plasmid prep

    • PCR

    • DNA/RNA isolation

    • Protein engineering

  • Qualifications

    • Minimum of BS (but masters preferred) in molecular biology or related field with lab experience, more qualified candidates welcome to apply as we do have flexibility in the role

    • Interest in biotech startup career or DIY Bio. Previous participation in iGem a plus

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Fun and friendly with good interpersonal skills

    • Proficient with all basic computer skills
