Job Description
The Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible for the Safety, Health and Environmental policies, procedures and operations at the plant. Also responsible for training systems across all plant functional areas. Ensures the plant is in full compliance with all corporate, city, county, state and federal government Safety, Health and Environmental laws and regulations.

Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate’s Degree preferred.
Related Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience is required. In-depth knowledge safety, environmental, food safety, GMP rules, regulations and policies.
Skills : Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point; Proficient in navigating OSHA, EPA and other key HSE regulations/web sites.

Additional Information
Physical: Must be able to sit up to 4hrs using a computer. Walking and standing up to 4 hrs. to conduct Plant walk through, inspections, and audits. Periodic lifting and climbing. Not over 40 lbs.
Sensory: Good Listening Skills; Speaking to vendors and at meetings. Visual for looking at samples, finished product and defective issues. Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemical, temperature etc.)
Mental/Reasoning : Reading and writing skills are very important. Must be able to interact with a variety of people. Reasoning and good judgment. Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization. Problem analyzing and correct reaction.
Language : Bilingual English Spanish is required
Salary range : $75,000 - 100,000
Annual Bonus Incentive : 5%
