External US POSITION SUMMARY:The Technology Development Group is responsible for the development of printhead technologies and operating techniques for implementation into future printhead products. These technology development activities include fabrication technologies, jet design, jetting operability, image quality evaluation, and jetting performance measurements. The current position is responsible for characterizing the influence of various different printing factors on printing success. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develop & validate test equipment using laboratory equipment. Implement a test protocol consisting of data collection under a prescribed set of test conditions. Utilize analysis tools to convert images into digital form. Generate and validate test data resulting from these tests. Analyze the generated test data and organize the results.
