Research Assistant Futureceuticals - Irvine, CA 92606 We are looking for a motivated and bright research scientist/assistant. Candidate should possess minimally a bachelors degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics or related fields with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in performing bioassays in an industry setting laboratory experience. Masters are encouraged to apply. Skills and Abilities: -Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed -Ability to attain and maintain a working knowledge of applicable SOPs -Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and become proficient with appropriate new software -Effective oral and written communication skills -Statistical Analysis skills. -Immunoassays and protein purification is highly desirable. -Perform bioassays following established protocols -Contribute to optimization and validation of new bioassays -Perform data analysis and document results -Other duties as assigned -Familiarity with basic lab equipment and knowledge of lab safety protocols -Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Responsibilities: -Run experiments/assays under supervision -Report data in a timely organized matter according to provided guidelines. -Develop/perform new immunoassays -Develop and author SOPs -Follow GLPs guidelines Requirements: -Knowledge of modern clinical laboratory techniques and procedures -Proper safe techniques in the handling of hazardous materials, biological specimens, and aseptic techniques -Knowledge of lab instrumentation -Ability to implement experimental design Salary commensurate with experience.
