Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a dedicated Toxicology General Supervisor to join the laboratory team at a busy and well established pain management clinic located in Tallahassee, FL. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead daily operations in a clinical toxicology lab that plays a vital role in supporting patient care through accurate and timely testing. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Position Overview:

• Perform and supervise routine testing, quality control, calibration, maintenance, and proficiency testing in accordance with current laboratory procedures
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines
• Responsible for providing day-to-day supervision of high complexity test performance
• Provide technical oversight to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and approve test results, quality control data, and proficiency testing.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with the Laboratory Director to implement new procedures, technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in internal audits and preparation for regulatory inspections.
• Maintain proper documentation of all lab activities in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform other duties as directed

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology
• 4 years of laboratory training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing
• Florida State Supervisor’s License
• Experience with Agilent 6400 series instruments and AI analyzers preferred
• Previous experience with toxicology sample prep

Salary / Benefits / Shift:

• Day Shift: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:00PM
• $75K-$85K/year depending on experience
