    We are now hiring Req #380 Job Skills Development Intern Hourly Temporary Thursday, April 12, 2018 -GRIFFITH FOODS Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products. We provide a wide range of taste and texture components for food industry customers throughout the world. Our products include seasoning blends, dry mixes, coating systems, dough blends, crumbs, flavors, sauces and food bases that are used in an extensive variety of application from snack foods and processed meat and poultry to ready meals. Our customers include food processors, restaurant operators and grocery retailers. While our name may not be familiar to consumers, our products are key components of foods offered by many of the worlds best-known companies. Supports the business unit General Manager and Director of HR in developing a job skills development program for individuals with special needs within the Griffith Foods US unit.The program will provide young adults, as part of a high School Transition program, to build different skills to support in optimizing business activities (e.g. Scanning, Database management, electronic filing, form management, Data entry). Essential Duties & Responsibilities: -Research and collaborate with other teaching professionals to assist us to develop job skills programs. -Evaluation, function by function of specific needs that require attention to optimize activities. -Development of plan, for each function, work requirements. -Development of work instructions for each activity. -Development of environmental set-up requirements for each function, by activity. -Development and implementation of a company communications plan for the launch of the program. -Interaction with the local Community School to evaluate candidates and finalize alignment with the Griffith team. -Development and execution of on-boarding program for the individuals/ school personnel. -Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: §Must be currently registered and attending a certified academic program (undergraduate or graduate level) or has completed and graduated from a certified academic program (undergraduate or graduate level). §Special Education, Psychology, Education, Marketing, Business Management Majors preferred. §Extensive skill set in Microsoft Office Suite. §Ability to simultaneously manage multiple deadlines and projects. §Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Solid planning capabilities.
