Lighthouse Lab Services is representing a laboratory seeking a skilled Histotechnologist to join their team on the night shift. This role is essential in supporting patient care through high-quality histology work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Shift start between 8:00 PM–10:00 PM (8-hour shift)

Note: Position is eligible for a shift differential
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare tissue samples by embedding and cutting slides for routine H&E and special stain procedures
Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance on lab equipment
Recognize and respond to issues requiring troubleshooting in processing, embedding, cutting, and staining
Operate safely and efficiently in a laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
Uphold safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control protocols
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Biology or related science required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
ASCP HT or HTL certification (or eligibility to sit for the exam) required
Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a histology lab preferred
At least 1 year of general laboratory experience preferred
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of experience in a high-volume lab environment
Documented experience with special stains and immunohistochemistry
