We are seeking an Intern to be part of a dynamic and collaborative Sales and Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for a variety of duties including sales support, marketing operations support, database management, as well as other sales and marketing related activities. The position provides the opportunity to develop professional skills while gain ing knowledge in the clinical research industry . Responsibilities Assist with CRM (Salesforce.com) expansion and maintenance Conduct s ponsor research and detailing Conduct market and competitive research to support sales activities Support trade shows and events to includ e planning, preparation and follow up a ctivities Track invoices and reconcile event budgets Oversee ordering, inventory, and distribution of marketing supplies, gifts, swag, and branded inventory Contribute to marketing activities to create brand awareness Update internal and external web page s Contribute to prospecting efforts Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Qualifications The successfull candidate will be a rising college junior or senior majoring in business, marketing or biological sciences with the a bility to work between 20 and 30 hours a week during the summer months. Must possess strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills with an acute attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism. Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office: Word, Powerpoint, Excell and Outlook. Experience with CRM systems, web based e-marketing systems and marketing automation would be a plus. Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
