  • Responsibilities
    • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating the design and engineering between various engineers for the customers’ process, equipment and installation.
    • Perform estimating, bidding and subcontract procurement on projects
    • Reviews and approves invoices.
    • Assist the Project Manager with the coordination and scheduling of the construction management activities on projects.
    • Develop, maintain and report project status to the customer. Assist the Project Manager to develop project proposals.
    • Create and maintain departmental electronic files, forms, and brochures.
    • Read and route incoming mail. Locate and attach appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by manager.
    • Compose and process routine correspondence.
    • Organize and maintain file system, and file correspondence and other records.
    • May coordinate proposal and bid package information or coordination of document release. May coordinate tracking contact status, vendor relations, meeting minutes.
    • Conduct research then compile statistical reports.
    • Coordinate and arrange meetings and events, including preparing agendas, reserving and preparing facilities, and transcription of meeting minutes.
    • Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Bachelor's degree from a four-year university in a related field (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, etc.). Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 months to 2 years related experience and/or training preferred.

     

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

      

    Math Ability:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.

     

    Certificates and Licenses:

    A valid driver’s license from the state that the employee resides as well as a clean driving record. Must be accessible to appropriate and reliable transportation to perform essential duties and responsibilities. CPR Certification encouraged but not mandatory.
