    We are seeking a motivated and talented CADD Technician to join our elite group of professionals in HARRISBURG, PA.  As a WATER & WASTEWATER CADD TECHNICIAN I, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in Computer Aided Drafting & Design elements in our Water & Wastewater Service Group.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Preparing plans and profile drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for:

    • Underground utilities
    • Treatment plants and buildings
    • Right-of-Way exhibits

    Working with Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s) in design/drafting capacity

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Associate’s Degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design, or related field

    Zero to two years of previous internship or practical job experience in CADD and/or civil engineering technology elements preferred.

    Working knowledge of:

    • AutoCAD Civil 3D
    • MEP 3D
    • Civil design
    • CADD concepts

    Strong skills in computers, geometry, trigonometry, and drafting

    Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices as necessary

    Has the legal right to work in the U.S.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Experience:

    Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing (where applicable) and qualify as a general supervisor.

     

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

     

    Math Ability:

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

     

    Computer Skills:

    Word processing, Spreadsheets, E-mail

     

    Certificates and Licenses:

    Certification by a recognized certifying agency for clinical laboratory professionals preferred (ASCP, ASMT, NCA, etc.).Must actively demonstrate the pursuance of specialty certification in chosen field of clinical expertise.
