We’re looking for a detail-driven, motivated Histology Coordinator to oversee and streamline daily operations in our high-performing histology lab.
About the Role:
As the Histology Coordinator, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest quality standards in tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining. You’ll be the vital link between pathologists, lab technologists, and administrative staff — keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
Coordinate daily histology lab operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of specimens.
Serve as the subject matter expert for histology procedures and troubleshooting.
Monitor and enforce compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital quality standards.
Mentor, train, and support histotechnologists and lab assistants.
Collaborate with pathologists and other departments to ensure optimal workflow and communication.
Maintain inventory, manage reagent usage, and oversee equipment maintenance and calibration.
Drive continuous improvement through QA/QC initiatives and process innovation.
What We’re Looking For:
ASCP certification as a Histotechnologist (HT or HTL) required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a histology laboratory (hospital setting preferred)
Strong knowledge of histological techniques and lab regulations
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Passion for precision, quality, and patient care
