    Job Summary  (Primary function) The Sr Mgr, Sales Operations IAI is part of the Strategic Customer Engagement & Advanced Analytics Team within the US Business Unit.  The Sr Mgr acts as a key contributor between the US Business Unit’s customer facing groups (i.e. Sales & Product Strategy brand teams) and counterparts across the Strategic Customer Engagement team.  This position supports the IAI business unit, collaborates with assigned brands, and contributes to sales operations responsibilities with a focus on sample management, PDMA compliance, and other core operations functions such as field reporting, fleet management, and ad hoc analysis.

    Essential Functions of the Job  (Key responsibilities)

    • Supervise field sample program ensuring integrity of the program and all applicable business rules, PDMA compliance, and field training.
    • Work closely and collaboratively with all Incyte stakeholders for the field sample program which include Compliance, Product Strategy, Legal and Supply Chain.
    • Support and manage field sample monitoring, inventories, shipments, and investigations.
    • Monitor all aspects of the sampling program and provide relevant analytic support.
    • Recommend and monitor initial and ongoing sample shipment quantities at the territory level.
    • Ensure appropriate field-based training and internal procedures in coordination with Compliance team aligned to state and federal governing regulations.
    • Support and manage federal (Sunshine Act) and state law reporting requirements impacting interactions with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and Health Care Organizations (HCOs) as it relates to samples.
    • Make recommendations on policy adjustments where gaps are identified.
    • Manage the Field Fleet program and Fleet policy to ensure the efficient and economical use of company-owned and/or company-leased vehicles. 
    • Keeps up to date with legislation, rulings and other developments that affect fleet operations. Maintains familiarity with DOT regulations.
    • Assist the Company by maintaining fleet safety operations and cost containment strategies to maximize field employee productivity as it relates to fleet.
    • Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to coordinate on going fleet needs.
    • Provide Analytical support analyzing sub-national performance trends & sales force effectiveness to identify opportunities and inefficiencies.
    • Support general field Ad-Hoc analysis within Sales Operations functions.

    Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

    • BA or BS degree required, degree in Business Administration or related fields preferred.
    • 5-8 years Sales Operations experience in the Pharma/BioTech industry.
    • Strong understanding of regulations involved with PDMA requirements, federal and state reporting requirements, and HCP databases.
    • Detailed understanding of sales processes, data tracking, and sales analytics.
    • Strong planning, project management skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong vendor management experience required.
    • Requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to analyze and QC data from multiple sources.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and make recommendations.
