Job Description

Position Purpose:

Customer Service INTERNSHIP (Example: Environmental Engineering, Accounting, Sales, etc.)

Internships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology.

Primary Duties /Responsibilities:

• Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
• Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
• May assist in research or special projects in a variety of areas in order to fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives.
• May be asked to prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses.
• Produces findings and draws conclusions from analyses. Makes oral and written recommendations to management.

Internships are focused on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures.

Candidates may support any of the Veolia North America business functions. During the matching process we will work to have you intern in the business function of most interest to you.

Business functions where internships take place at Veolia North America:

• Corporate (Accounting, Communications, Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, etc.)
• Engineering
• Maintenance
• Manufacturing
• Operations
• Sales
• Supply Chain

Work Environment:

Environments vary by internship function from office to field to plant. Our aim is to provide tangible industry job experience to each intern. While we may extend offers to some interns, there is no guarantee of a job offer at the end of the internship. ****

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background:

• Working towards a four year degree and you have Junior status in a related major. Example: If the internship is in electrical engineering, you are a junior working towards an electrical engineering (or similar such as electronics engineering) degree.
• 3.2 Cumulative G.P.A required

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills / Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships

Required Certification / Licenses / Training:

• Certification/Licenses/Training not generally required for an internship.

Additional Information

Hourly Pay Range: Minimum of $16 to a maximum of $18
