    Position Location: Silver Spring, Maryland

     

    Position Status: Full-Time Employment

     

    Essential Duties:

    • Analyze integration of business processes, cost estimating and financial management processes from both a Government and corporate perspective
    • Prepares detailed reports; develop, analyze, update and maintain key monthly reports; and perform explicit analysis of actuals vs. projections
    • Assist and provide solutions for work break-down structures related to cost management
    • Develop, maintain and report all expense-related data, forecasts, and performance metrics; ensure consistent and correct application of budget guidelines, working closely with program directors as well as with the corporate accounting/finance team to monitor the submission, processing, and disposition of expenditure requests
    • Establish and attend monthly project cost reviews, (project, schedule and sub contract)
    • Verify accuracy of anticipate cost report (ACR) and compare with project schedule and sub-contractor incurred
    • Ensure proper government budgetary processes and requirements, obligation / expenditure tracking
    • Identify variances from approved expenditures and budget targets, research, and resolve financial/accounting and compliance issues; monitor assigned tasks and keep the program directors abreast of all issues, concerns, problems and accomplishments
    • Assists in preparing invoices by assigning charge codes, entering data in the approval sheets, and forwarding to the program directors for approval
    • Provides support on cost proposals and annual budget preparation
    • Submits recommendations for process improvements; and assist in the development of budget presentations and associated materials
    • Ensures that expenditures for budgets and contracts are monitored and that reports are prepared to maintain balanced accounts
    • Confers with appropriate internal and external administrative offices to ensure that required procedures are followed. Provides instruction and answers questions relating to budget procedures
    • Performs other duties as assigned

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.  Government contracting experience is required.

  • Qualifications
    • Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform and not finish work before scheduled finishing time as stated in employee handbook.

    • Live in North/Middle Caicos and able to make own transport to sandy point not rely on schedule bus due to working hours.

    • To assist in opening and closing and maintaining the Activities area to COMO Parrot Cay standards, ensuring safety at all times while completing in a timely manner.

    • To provide guests with Water sports rental equipment providing thorough guidelines and instructions for guest safety.

    • Inform guests of water sports, and other activities.

    • Assist with all Activities areas and keep clean and tidy, restock supplies, taking collection laundry, equipment moving and cleaning

    • Ensure that activities exceeds guest expectations

    • Maintain a good team moral and safe work environment.

    • Follow Management requests and instructions in a professional, helpful and pleasant manner.

    • To participate fully as a COMO Parrot Cay team member.

    • Speak & understand English to a high standard.

    • Work with guests and colleagues in a calm and professional manner.
