The MES/Automation Support Specialists work with IQMS clients and team members at every level in the ongoing support of our EnterpriseIQ ERP software at clients' sites throughout North America and the world. Theseindividuals apply extensive knowledge of core ERP system functionality and their specific team focus, as well as basic understanding of all areas of the software. Successful candidates demonstrate excellent organization and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to others. Required Proficiencies, Background & Education: * Some college or technical school in related field (technology, business, operations, etc.) and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Working knowledge of SQL * Successful experience with customer service/support via telephone, email and web * Solid understanding of Windows desktop applications and Microsoft Operating Systems * Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with customers and associates at all levels * Must be detailed oriented with the ability to adjust in a dynamic environment * Strong analytical skills * Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions * Excellent communication, time management and teamwork skills * Must be a self-motivated team player who likes responsibility Job Responsibilities: * Develop tests to replicate an issue * Respond to inquiries, technical questions, or complaints * Receive and resolve incoming customer questions and problems via phone and e-mail through their knowledge of the software, trouble-shooting, and problem solving * Escalate software enhancement requests as directed * Maintaining EnterpriseIQ customer relationship management software by logging all correspondence regarding customer issues * Troubleshoot electronic equipment * Additional job duties as assigned Additional Requirements: * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus * Basic understanding of business functions * Requires successful completion of EnterpriseIQ training and testing program * Working knowledge of PLC (programming, testing) This is a full-time salaried position based at our Paso Robles, CA office, reporting to the MES/Automation Support Supervisor. This position includes standard IQMS medical/dental/vision and 401(k) benefits package.
