Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a 1099 contractor to assist us with project-based work at a Cannabis testing laboratory near Worcester, MA.

This engagement is 4-6 weeks in length, with the first 2 weeks conducted onsite. We are seeking an experienced individual to assist with the following tasks:

• Optimize residual solvents method on the headspace GCMS.
• Train techs on the residual solvents Cal/QC prep using Gastight syringes and vials with Miniert valves. This prep must be performed on ice.
• Optimize Terpenes method on the liquid injection GCMS.
• Test the extraction recovery for the Terpenes panel and adjust extraction procedure if necessary.
• Build a GCMS liquid injection method for pesticides that are not detectable on the LCMS.

Experience required:

• Waters MassLynx software and Quanpedia
• GCMS basic troubleshooting and maintenance
• Experience with the CTC PAL autosampler
• Manipulating volatiles/gases with Gastight syringes.
• Environmental analysis requirements for Matrix Spike, Matrix Blank, ICV, CCV, LCS. (Not required, but an asset)

Qualified individuals wishing to be considered for this project may be asked to submit an hourly bid for this work to be performed, inclusive of travel costs.
