Lighthouse Lab Services is partnering with an independent pathologist-owned medical group based in St. Helena, California. Their mission is to foster a collaborative work environment that focuses on providing quality diagnostics for optimum patient care.  

This is a wonderful location near Redwood Forest in the heart of wine country. Known for its many wineries and top-rated restaurants, St Helena is often regarded as “one of the best places to live in California.” This area enjoys a low crime rate and an excellent schooling system making it an ideal city to raise a family.

Responsibilities:

• Read pathology slides
• Participate and contribute to hospital meetings as needed
• Perform frozen sections, non-Gyn, and FNAs
• Provide support services and consult with other pathologists when necessary or needed
• Ability to handle 3000+ surgicals annually

Education and Certification Requirements:

The qualified candidate will possess a doctoral degree (MD/DO) and one of the below listed board certifications.

• ABP—American Board of Pathology dual certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• Preference will be given to those with a Hematopathology subspeciality
• Current possession or eligibility to obtain an unrestricted California Medical License

Salary:

• $300,000 dependent upon experience
