 Position Overview:

• Perform high and moderate complexity testing at a basic level.
• Perform various testing in all departments (molecular chemistry, coagulation, hematology, special chemistry, urinalysis, serology, Blood banking) following prescribed quality assurance policies and procedures. 
• Meets current documentation standards and policies.
• Manage and operate laboratory equipment safely and correctly.
• Responsible for inventory of reagents and supplies in the laboratory, reports needed supplies to the general supervisor. 
• Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations. 
• Follow standard precautions at all times.  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies, standards, and procedures.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients.

Candidate Profile:

•  Associates Degree in Science Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related science.
• Previous experience preferred but new grads are MT/MLS certified grads are welcome to apply.
• Must be at least MT(ASCP) certified or its equivalent or its equivalent
