Lighthouse Lab Services has partnered with a small family pain clinic looking to add an LCMS Technical Supervisor to their team located in Palm Beach, FL.
This is Monday-Friday day shift position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
Performs routine testing, quality control, calibration, maintenance, and proficiency testing in accordance with current laboratory procedures
Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines
Responsible for providing day-to-day high complexity test performance
Responsible for monitoring test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
Assuring that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the established performance specifications
Ensuring that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the tests properly functioning
Perform other duties as directed
Candidate Profile:
B.S. in Chemistry, Clinical Lab Science, or related field
Qualify as testing personnel under CLIA guidelines and have at least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
Previous experience testing blood samples
1+ year of Toxicology testing required
Florida State Supervisor License Required
Salary / Benefits:
$90-120k DoE
