Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to represent an established, yet growing laboratory in Gainesville, FL! They are looking for a few qualified Histotechnologists to join their team.

Job Summary:

Performs all processes to prepare tissues and body fluids for diagnostic evaluation. This may include routine embedding, microtomy, staining, routine laboratory equipment maintenance, special staining techniques, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme histochemistry.

Must ensure all regulations are met and all productivity and quality standards are met or surpassed.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• FL State license as a histotechnologist is required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred, not required as long as license is present

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• FL State license as a histotechnologist.
• ASCP Certification is preferred

Shift Options/Pay Rate:

• Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday
• DAYS
• 4pm-12:30am
• 4am-12:30pm

Pay Rate is dependant on experience; Minimum Pay Rate is $25.48 with a salary adjustment in 6 months
