Lighthouse Lab Services is looking for a Senior Chemist to join a startup laboratory that specializes in high through put food testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with GCMS, LCMS, ICP/MS and wet chemistry.

Shift: Days 9a-5p

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise laboratory operations to uphold quality standards, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.
• Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, maintaining our commitment to exceptional service.
• Maintain instruments and ensure TAT's are met
• Collaborate with the laboratory team to achieve ISO 17025 compliance and implement the Corporate Quality Management System effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laboratory environment, overseeing maintenance operations.
• Ensure adherence to the Laboratory Safety Program at all times.
• Oversee non-routine projects as requested by clients or assigned by management.
• Stay updated on scientific advancements and industry trends through continuous learning.
• Conduct periodic audits of laboratory staff to ensure compliance with protocols.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned, including method verification.

Preferred Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science
• 3+ years of experience
• Previous experience with LCMS/GCMS testing methods

Salary and Benefits:
