Lighthouse Lab Services is partnering with a leading healthcare laboratory seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join its team in Greenville, Ohio. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available on the evening shift.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented laboratory professional who enjoys hands-on clinical testing and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely results that support quality patient care. Candidates who are ASCP or AMT certified, or eligible for certification, are encouraged to apply.

The Role You'll Play:

• Perform clinical laboratory testing accurately and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.

• Conduct daily instrument maintenance and quality control to ensure reliable testing performance.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues involving laboratory instrumentation, reagents, specimens, and test results.

• Accurately document and report laboratory results using appropriate computer systems.

• Respond professionally to questions or concerns from healthcare providers and other laboratory clients.

• Assist with training new laboratory employees and students as needed.

• Maintain a safe working environment by following laboratory safety procedures, infection control practices, and PPE requirements.

• Support efficient laboratory operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient care.

What You'll Bring:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLT/MLS/CLS) or equivalent.

• ASCP or AMT certification, or eligibility for certification, required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate laboratory testing.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow established laboratory procedures.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with laboratory colleagues and healthcare professionals.

• Ability to manage responsibilities efficiently in a busy clinical laboratory environment.

• Willingness to participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

Salary, Shift, Benefits

• Salary: Hourly compensation, rate to be confirmed.

• Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

• Shift: Evenings, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.
