Job Title: MRI Technician
Location: Medford, OR
Schedule: Full-Time, 12-hour Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Salary: $45.26 – $62.24 per hour (depending on qualifications)
Differentials: Eligible for additional pay: $2.02 (swing), $4.50 (night), $1.87 (weekend)
Relocation Bonus: Available, determined at time of offer
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team in Medford, OR. This role will provide high-quality imaging services in a hospital-based setting, supporting a wide range of patient needs including critical care, pediatrics (including NICU), and general anesthesia patients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced MRI procedures, compassionate in-patient care, and confident in a fast-paced environment.
General Job Duties & Procedures:
Perform a wide variety of MRI procedures including Neuro with perfusion, Musculoskeletal (MSK), Abdomen, Pediatric (including NICU), Critical Care, and General Anesthesia patients.
Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient imaging while prioritizing patient comfort and quality of care.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Adhere to all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies.
Equipment Utilized:
SIEMENS SKYRA 3.0T and SIEMENS SYMPHONY 1.5T MRI scanners
EPIC electronic medical record system
PACS imaging storage and management system
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of MRI imaging techniques, safety standards, and patient preparation.
Ability to adapt to urgent and critical patient needs in a hospital environment.
Licensure, Certifications & Education:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Current MRI license through one of the following:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, or
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Licensed in MRI by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) (required).
