About the Lab:
Lighthouse Lab Services is working with a new reference laboratory in Austin, TX delivering comprehensive clinical testing services with a commitment to scientific excellence and compliance. Join a dedicated team working with Horiba and Thermo Fisher Scientific analyzers across core lab functions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Core Lab Technologist you’ll perform a broad range of clinical testing and support daily operations in a high-quality laboratory environment. Core responsibilities include:
• Performing routine and specialty testing in chemistry, hematology, immunology, and serology.
• Operating and maintaining automated analyzers (Horiba, Thermo Fisher) and performing QC and calibration activities.
• Reviewing test results, documenting findings, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to lab protocols.
• Preparing specimens, reagents, and controls; troubleshooting instrument issues in partnership with supervisor/technical specialists.
• Complying with laboratory safety, regulatory standards, and quality assurance practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience with core testing disciplines (chemistry, hematology, immunology, serology).
• Familiarity with automated core lab instrumentation (e.g., Horiba, Thermo Fisher) strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
