HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern is part of an Operations team that produces products that support research and industrial production within the medical device field. You will work closely with the Production team to identify and implement opportunities that streamline the manufacturing process.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

• Help resolve technical issues that arise on the manufacturing floor.

• Revise build and test procedures to reflect the desired manufacturing process using our Engineering Change Order process

• Use analytical tools to determine root cause of process failures to support corrective and preventative actions

• Support opportunities to streamline and reduce manufacturing time.

• Find opportunities to implement new methods to help the ease of manufacturing.

• Collaborate with the resources within the Manufacturing Engineering team to implement improvements in Production.

KEYS TO SUCCESS:

EDUCATION

• Pursuit of B.S in Mechanical Engineering, Bioscience, or related field

EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Desire to improve systems and processes.

• Understanding of mechanical, and electronic assemblies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and team skills.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.

• Adept at planning, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and following through.
