  • Responsibilities

    What will you do?

    • Use MPS/MRP in Oracle and to drive production planning
      • Manage key item settings in Oracle to ensure proper system functionality
      • Plan and schedule MTS products and monitor excess inventory
      • Monitor and reconcile exception messages
    • Balance customer demands with available material and capacity while establishing the production schedule
    • Expedite production batches when needed to fulfill product demand
    • Communicate with customer service regarding any issues affecting on-time delivery
    • Partner with purchasing to resolve any parts issues and confirm we have parts available for the start of scheduled production
    • Coordinate with operations to optimize schedule adherence
    • Collaborate with various departments to minimize schedule changes within the 4-day frozen window
    • Perform requested analyses, and track and prepare metrics and reports as directed
    • Train as a backup for other members of the team
    • Engage in continuous improvement activities
    • May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
  • Qualifications

    How will you get here?

    Education

    • High School Diploma and additional 4 years of experience required
    • BS/BA in Business or related field (supply chain management, logistics, operations, etc.) preferred

    Experience

    • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Proficiency with MS Office products with expertise in Excel
    • General understanding of ERP business systems (preferably Oracle R12)

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
