Summary of Internship

The Marketing Development Internship position provides an opportunity for students who are currently pursuing a marketing related degree to get industry experience working with a team of marketing professionals to execute elements of the strategic marketing plan including new product launches, digital marketing initiatives and events. The marketing development intern will collaborate with the team to execute a variety of tasks, monitor and communicate effectiveness. The position starts in June, paid working 40 hours per week through August and will continue through the academic year on a part-time basis to allow for class schedules.

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing tactics and collateral to support the cell therapy business marketing plan
• Gain exposure to creating a multi-channel digital marketing strategy and monitoring effectiveness
• Provide support to market development to prepare tools and training for a new product launch and assist in monitoring launch effectiveness
• Learn about how to execute events, monitor and communicate results
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
• Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, project management and planning skills.
• Desire to learn about multi-channel marketing
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
• Passion for marketing industry and its best practices
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Qualifications

• Student currently pursuing BA in Marketing or Business related major
• General knowledge of digital marketing preferred
• Articulate, organized and efficient
