    Summary of Internship

    The Materials & Inventory Planning Co-op position provides a motivated student with hands on experience working in a fast-paced cross-functional environment supporting the manufacturer and delivery of a broad range of highly technical products. The Materials and Inventory Planning intern will contribute to establishing rigor and continuous improvement projects in the planning and purchasing processes. The position starts in July, paid working 40 hours per week through December.

    Essential Functions

    • Lead project(s) regarding Inventory Segmentation Analysis
    • Work with managers to create reports, analysis tools and increase efficiencies through proper data management
    • Maintain and Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives
    • Create dashboards for quick review of key KPI’s
    • Lead Data Integrity exercises to ensure proper purchasing and planning parameters

    • Strong Knowledge of MS Excel

    Qualifications

    • Student currently enrolled in classes leading to a ABET accredited degree in a Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management preferably
    • Interest/Previous Experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain is a plus
