To develop custom web and desktop .NET database applications.  Responsible for testing his/her own code before completing a task and troubleshooting problems escalated to the developer.  An understanding of object-oriented, database query and stored procedures and layered architecture is required.

The following are intended to be examples of the accountabilities for which the person in this position is responsible.  This position is not intended to be complete or all-inclusive and does not preclude management from assigning other or related functions for which the individual has demonstrated competency through performance.

• Work with customers to formalize HL7 interface specifications, develop HL7 interfaces, and troubleshoot and resolve problems with custom .NET web and desktop applications
• Follow coding standards and best practices and communicate effectively
• Assist in preparing reports, writing proposals, updating project specifications and publishing updates
• Other duties as assigned
• Regular and reliable attendance

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology,  Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
• Detail oriented individual who thoroughly tests own code
• Know how to use source control tools (e.g. Subversion)
• Ability to work with others or independently
• Proactive and good communicator required

Required Experience

• 4+ years .NET programming experience
• 3+ years .NET web development experience using ASP.NET and C#
• Experience with writing SQL Server stored procedures and ADO.NET database access
