    The role of a MilliporeSigma Account Manager is to continually and consistently increase market share and revenues by collaborating with pharmaceutical and biotech customers and prospects to solve their unique challenges. You will create value for both the customer and MilliporeSigma, strategically manage projects and resources to ensure long term profitable growth, emphasize differentiation from MilliporeSigma’s competitors, and build upon MilliporeSigma’s reputation for excellence within your territory.

     

    Opportunities are available in our Applied Solutions, Process Solutions, and Research Solutions commercial groups.

     

    WHO YOU ARE: 

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline
    • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in meeting/exceeding sales targets

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Masters or PhD degree with laboratory experience preferred
    • Demonstrated experience in preparing and implementing tactical business plans at the territory and account levels
    • Prior sales experience in the Life Sciences environment
    • Has a natural affinity to listen, influence and/or sell to all levels of an organization
    • Able to build and maintain strong relationships, credibility, and trust
    • Is self-motivated, assertive; takes initiative and works independently
    • Utilizes effective negotiation skills; generates results with positive outcomes for both parties
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Dedicated to continuously increasing knowledge and skills
    • Demonstrated ability with Excel, Microsoft Office software, SalesForce or other CRM in a business environment
    • Knowledge of varying supply chain procurement processes and or options
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization inspiring teamwork to achieve results
    • Working knowledge of cGMP pharmaceutical and biotech drug production processes/unit operations for upstream and downstream processes.
    • Experience working as a remote employee
