Primary Duties/responsibilities:

• Heavy labor of a mechanical nature involving the maintenance, construction and inspection of the water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Operation of vehicles, heavy equipment, and hand tools.
• Assist on and video inspection of main lines.
• Assist in the repair and replacement of damaged water and wastewater mains.
• Assist Hydro-clean, saw, and remove blockages from sanitary sewer lines.
• Tap water and sewer mains & install new service connections.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of work zones. May be required to direct traffic.
• Assist with yard repairs and sod replacement.
• Assist with repairs and replacements of fire hydrants.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

• High School Diploma/GED.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:

• Driver's License.
