    Typical Day in the Role

    • They will be participating on a multiplayer team

    • Engineering planning and implementation (SCRUM) team

    • They will work through the backlogs assigned to them to implement

    • Work to create tools

    • Writing code

    • Testing the features that they develop on Xbox consoles

    • Validating their work and making audits

    • Daily stand up and scrum meetings

    • Implementing UX game features

    • Bug fixes on existing features

    Years of experience required:

    • Strong programming background in C++ and visual studio

    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with other disciplines.

    • Passion for games and a “customer-obsessed” attitude

    • Debugging code

    Preferred:

    • Experience delivering user-facing features with high usability

    • 2+ years of professional software development experience

    • Game programming experience

    • Experience with Networking, AI, Physics, Camera, or other Gameplay systems

    • Experience with Pro-Force

    • Experience with Powershell

    Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor of Math/Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience.

    Best vs. average

    The best candidate will be passionate about games and have:

    • Game programming experience in a team environment, with at least one shipped title or a great demo

    • Experience with sockets and low-level networking systems

    • Ability to write and reason about multithreaded, asynchronous systems

    • Familiarity with writing C# and/or Powershell scripting and tooling

    • Knowledge and passion for cars or racing

    A qualified candidate is required to have the following experience:

    - Bachelor of Math/Computer Science or equivalent experience

    - Programming background in C++

    - Ability to work in a collaborative environment with other disciplines

    - Passion for games and a “customer-obsessed” attitude

    Candidates with the following additional skills will be preferred:

    - Experience delivering user-facing features with high usability

    - 2+ years of professional software development experience

    - Game programming experience

    - Experience with Networking, AI, Physics, Camera, or other Gameplay systems

    Top 3 Must-Haves:

    1 Strong programming background in C++ and visual studio

    2 Networking experience (be able to troubleshoot multiplayer gaming configuration)

    3 C# (entry level is fine)
