Business Intelligence Analyst / PowerBI Analyst
Job Description: Need a contractor who can create a PowerBI using data from excel, API from a 3rd party source (CSR Hub), and an internal Microsoft tool (Compass). I also need Power Apps support for the output from the PowerBI. The goal is for the user to enter their customer name and have returned to them all of their customers Corporate Social Responsibility listed in a format that can be presented to the customer alongside Microsoft's Corporate Social Responsibility assets.
Typical task breakdown and rhythm –
Building a power BI dashboard then when items are input into the dashboard they will need to make it into something to present to the customer (PowerBI and Power Apps skillset). The PowerBI will come from a few different sourced which one of which is a 3rd party providing an API and there is also an internal tool that they will pull information from which may be challenging to work with. They will also work off of an excel spreadsheet and being able to put it into a presentable format.
Years of experience required – 2-3 years of experience would be great using PowerBI and Power Apps. (anything that shows they have the experience)
Best vs. average – BEST – someone who would understand the tools and understand their end output of what they are trying to get to and how the tools will get them there. Not really looking for someone that they need to give step-by-step instructions to. Want to give them the requirements of the project and then work with them on it to get it done. Being open to feedback and recommendations from the team is collaborative.
