The Nevro® Senza® SCS System received CE mark in 2010, TGA approval in 2011, FDA approval in 2015, and is commercially available in Europe, Australia, and the United States. Overview The market access team is focused on ensuring all patients have access to HF10 therapy. There are a number of different areas we work in to achieve this: working with payers (Medicare and commercial payers) to ensure coverage and recognition of HF10, partnering with customers to allow access at facilities, pricing strategy, health economics initiatives and focusing on the product pipeline and future coverage. The 2018 Market Access intern will work across a number of these initiatives. He/she will report directly to the Director of Market Access and support projects regarding payer coverage, health economics analyses and reimbursement support for customers. Two key projects would include analyses of reimbursement and payer coverage for future product indications and a customer value analysis. Role Requirements Pursuing graduate degree MBA, MPH or MPP Skills and Knowledge Ability to translate data into insight and action (strong comfort with excel, access a plus) Overall knowledge of the healthcare environment including understanding of health insurance markets (Medicare and commercial payers) and hospital purchasing Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects on time Strong team player who is willing to contribute as needed, can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Ability to speak up when important information or questions must be raised and takes action when issues must be addressed
