PHARMACIST INTERNThe Everett Clinic is seeking a part-time Pharmacist Intern to join our clinical pharmacist team, located onsite in Everett, WA.The Pharmacist Intern functions as an integral member of the Clinical Pharmacy team and will have the opportunity to engage in project work under the guidance of clinical pharmacists.  Project work will allow the Pharmacist Intern the opportunity to interact with physicians, other health care providers and clinic staff.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare, provide and/or present educational materials for clinical staff and providers about medications and drug therapy topicsParticipate in pharmacy presentations to providers and clinic staff on pharmacy related topicsDocument appropriately in electronic health record (EHR) - EPIC and MosaicPerform pharmacy therapeutic switch programs whereby the patient therapy is evaluated, patients are contacted for voluntary switches and document in the EHR the outcome achieved and actions for the provider to take if applicablePreferred Experience and Credentials:Current enrollment in an ACPE Accredited school of Pharmacy programCurrent Washington State Pharmacist Intern License General knowledge of drug therapy and commonly used medicationsAbility to work with diverse range of people.Interested in learning more?  Let’s talk about our Pharmacy Intern opportunities and your career growth!
